PCT ADVANTAGE is our way of showing our appreciation for using PCT products in your business.
A simple invoice-based loyalty program with generous rewards.

PCT ADVANTAGE is a simple 3-step process, with generous rewards to be collected.
Collect 1 point per dollar you spend on ANY PCT branded product, to be redeemed within 12 months.

SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. Retain your invoices for PCT products.
2. Once you have accumulated the necessary points for your selected reward, fax or email invoices to PCT.
3. Rewards will be dispatched within 30 days. You must redeem your points within 12 months.

PCT Advantage points rewards - see how much you can obtain from 1 point earned per dollar spent on any PCT product:

1000 points:   $25.00 gift voucher.
2000 points:   $50.00 gift voucher.
5000 points:   $150.00 gift voucher.
10000 points: $350.00 gift voucher.

You can nominate your preference of store voucher, but the actual gift voucher will be subject to availability.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. WHEN DO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY?

When you first redeem your reward points you are treated as having agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. You agree that these terms and conditions apply to any points you earn.

2. HOW DOES PCT ADVANTAGE WORK?

PCT Advantage commences on 01 January 2012. Under PCT Advantage, you earn points whenever you purchase PCT's Professional range of products either through PCT directly or via PCT's distributors. You may then convert the points to rewards that PCT Advantage may offer from time to time and for which you qualify.

3. HOW DO YOU EARN POINTS?

The points are calculated on the number of Australian dollars paid by you in connection with purchases of PCT's Professional range of products (excluding any GST payable in respect of the goods or services) from PCT directly or its distributors. You earn points on the basis of 1 point for each $1.00 you spend on PCT Professional range of products. If you return any PCT products that are damaged or faulty or as a result of a disputed transaction those points earned in connection with the original or disputed transaction will be deducted from your points total.

4. HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR POINTS?

Your points will expire within 12 months from the date of your invoice in connection with PCT Professional product purchases. Also in some circumstances, as set out in these terms and conditions, you may not be entitled to points or be able to claim rewards if points are invalidly earned. Clause 15 sets out our right to terminate PCT Advantage at any time. After PCT Advantage is terminated you will no longer be able to earn points.

5. WHAT ARE THE REWARDS?

The rewards available at any time are set out on www.pcti.com.au or you can contact PCT on 1800 630 877. All rewards are subject to availability and substitutions may be necessary. We will only substitute rewards where we reasonably consider they are comparable. All rewards are subject to the specific conditions on which the provider of the reward makes the reward available. If there is any inconsistency between them and these terms and conditions, the specific conditions prevail.

6. HOW DO YOU CLAIM A REWARD?

You may claim a reward if you have sufficient points at the time of your claim. The number of points required for each reward is available at www.pcti.com.au You can only select rewards current at the time you claim a reward. You cannot combine your points with points earned in someone else's name.

You can claim a reward by emailing PCT at sales@pcti.com.au or faxing PCT on (07) 3711 7055 - you will need to supply appropriate proof of purchase (ie invoices) of PCT's professional range of products. For a list of PCT's professional range of products consult the website at www.pcti.com.au

You should allow 30 days from the time you make your request for delivery of your reward. We will arrange for your reward to be delivered to the postal address you last notified to us. Where there is a delay in delivery we will notify you care of the last contact details you last notified to us.

Neither we nor our agents are responsible if a reward (including a gift card) is lost, stolen or damaged after it has been despatched for reasons beyond our control. You may redeem your points for gift cards which PCT will send you. Gift cards are to be redeemed with the reward provider specified on the gift card. If the gift card contains an expiry date, it cannot be used after that time and points will not be re-credited to you if you do not use a gift card. You cannot redeem gift cards for cash, cheques, money orders or other payment instruments. You cannot cancel a reward claim. If you claim a reward, you cannot change or cancel that claim nor can you exchange or return a reward to obtain a re-credit of the relevant points.

7. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REWARDS?

We are responsible for ensuring that the rewards are made available to you as set out in these terms and conditions. Our liability to you in respect of any rewards redeemed using your points is set out in clause 13. We are not responsible if you cannot claim or redeem a reward for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

8. HOW DO YOU KEEP TRACK OF YOUR POINTS AND REWARD ENTITLEMENTS?

You are responsible for keeping track of your points and reward entitlements. A record of your points will be the invoices for PCT product purchases obtained either from PCT or its distributors. Points can be used to claim rewards that PCT Advantage may offer from time to time and for which you qualify, once you have paid your invoice. You may be required to also send copies of the relevant sales receipts or a card statement showing the transactions for which you believe you are entitled to points. We will investigate all queries and make the final decision if there is any dispute.

9. HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER?

We will send communications in connection with PCT Advantage to your postal or email address last notified to us. You must tell us if you change your address. You can contact us in the following ways:

10. WHEN WE WILL NOT AWARD POINTS OR FULFIL REWARD CLAIM?

You do not receive points and may not claim a reward if you do not pay your invoices for purchases of PCT products or your account with PCT or its distributors is in arrears. You must bring your account up to date by paying the arrears before you can recommence earning points or claim a reward. You are not entitled to points if PCT or its distributors cancels or terminates your account for any reason, or we reasonably suspect that you or a representative of your company is behaving or has behaved fraudulently.

11. DO POINTS THEMSELVES HAVE MONETARY VALUE?

Points are not property and do not have any monetary value except in respect of the value assigned to them by PCT Advantage. Points and rewards may not be transferred, sold, bequeathed or inherited. Points can only be redeemed for rewards and are not convertible into cash or to a credit to your credit card. Points are just used to record your entitlement to claim a reward.

12. WHAT HAPPENS TO INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?

You authorise us, any of our agents to seek access to, collect and use information about you in connection with PCT Advantage including:

  • personal details such as name, address and occupation
  • transaction or event information resulting in points being credited or debited;
  • the number of points credited or debited;
  • the number of points you earn; and
  • things you tell us about PCT Advantage

We agree not to use or disclose that information except in connection with administering PCT Advantage; or
providing goods and services and rewards relating to PCT Advantage; or
planning, researching and the promotion and marketing of our services and the goods and services of our distributors.

You consent to us disclosing your information to any party to facilitate the above. If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us, please write to PCT International Pty Ltd, PO Box 486, Archerfield Qld 4108.

13. DISCLAIMER

We accept our liability to you for the direct losses resulting from a breach of contract or negligence under the principles applied by the courts. We and our distributors are also not liable for any loss:

to the extent that it is caused by you (for example, through your negligence or breach of contract);
to the extent that it results from your failure to reasonably mitigate your loss; or
caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as an act of God).

You may also have other rights under consumer protection legislation. Our failure to enforce a term of these terms and conditions does not mean we waive that term.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PCT ADVANTAGE

We may change these terms and conditions and other aspects of PCT Advantage at any time in accordance with this clause. We will give notice of any change to these terms and conditions in accordance with the below:

Type of change

Notice we will give you a change to the way you earn points from time to time, including by introducing new ways or changing existing ways of earning points or changing the way points are earned.

For changes which we reasonably consider are not material to the nature and character of PCT Advantage - no prior notice.  For changes which we reasonably consider are material to the character and nature of PCT Advantage - reasonable prior notice (but at least 30 days).

Removal of rewards

For rewards which we reasonably consider are not material to the character and nature of PCT  Advantage - no prior notice.

For rewards which we reasonably consider are material to the character and nature of PCT Advantage - reasonable prior notice (which will be not less than 30 days except if the removal of the reward is due to our inability to negotiate on terms reasonably acceptable to us the continued availability of the reward, in  which case we will give you as much notice as reasonably practicable).

15. TERMINATION

We may terminate PCT Advantage at any time. We will notify you as soon as practicable of the termination and the time period in which you may use your points to claim rewards (which will be at least 30 days) from the date we tell you PCT Advantage is discontinued.

16. PCT'S ROLE

PCT will ensure that PCT Advantage will perform its obligations to you under these terms and conditions.

17. INTERPRETATION

In these terms and conditions:

  • GST means a goods and services tax, value added tax, consumption tax, or any similar tax or a tax on services only.
  • PCT means PCT International Pty Ltd (ACN 101 170 923)
  • PCT Advantage means the rewards program operated by PCT under these terms and conditions.
  • We or us means PCT.
  • You means the person whose name in a company or business is kept and who is responsible for all transactions of the company or business.
